George Ceiling Lamp Solution FAQs
Here you can quickly solve common ceiling lamp problems.
Can you help me pick the right lamp size for my ceiling height?
If your ceiling is low, we suggest a flat or semi-flat lamp. For higher ceilings, we can recommend bigger styles. Just tell us your room size and height—we’ll help you pick a lamp that fits well and looks great.
How bright is the fixture—will it fully light our lobby or dining room?
Tell us the size and purpose of the room, such as a hall, dining room or bedroom. We’ll suggest the optimal wattage and lumen level to make the space feel bright without being harsh.
If you prefer warm or cool lighting, or need dimming options, we can provide that too. We’ll help you achieve the perfect combination of style and function.
Is the lamp dimmable, or can it connect to my smart-home system?
If you want to control the brightness for different moods, we can include dimmable options. And if you’re using smart systems like Tuya, Alexa, or Google Home, just let us know — we’ll match the right driver and control module so your lamp connects smoothly.
Does it work on both 110 V and 220 V without extra parts?
Yes, most of our ceiling lamps support both 110V and 220V directly — no need for extra converters.
When you place your order, just let us know your local voltage. We’ll make sure the internal driver or transformer is pre-set to match your country’s standard. You won’t have to modify or adjust anything yourself — just install and enjoy. It’s that simple.
What’s the average lifespan of the LED chips or bulbs?
The LED chips we use in our ceiling lights are both durable and energy efficient, with an average lifespan of 30,000 to 50,000 hours.
That means if you use them 6-8 hours a day, you won’t have to think about replacing them for years. We handpick reliable LED brands and test them before packaging, so they won’t dim prematurely or flicker. Only stable and reliable lighting.
Will moisture or sea air damage the finish in our coastal resort?
If your project is close to the sea, you have every reason to be concerned about the effects that humidity and salt-laden air can have on the lighting.
That’s why we offer coastal-grade ceiling lights with corrosion-resistant finishes such as powder-coated aluminium or marine-grade stainless steel. These materials help prevent rusting, flaking or fading, even in humid, salt-laden environments.
What's the energy consumption, and can it meet green-building codes?
Most of our ceiling lights utilise LED technology, which means low energy consumption and high brightness. For example, a 24 watt luminaire can easily illuminate a standard room with a fraction of the power consumption of a traditional luminaire.
Simply tell us your project’s green specification objectives and we’ll help you meet them all without compromising on style or lighting quality.
Is the light glare-free and comfortable for long hours in an office?
Our ceiling lights are designed with anti-glare diffusers and soft light temperature options (e.g. 3000K-4000K) so your team won’t experience eye strain or harsh reflections.
We’re able to strike a balance between brightness and visual comfort, so the space is well-lit but not crowded.
